It’s been a while since the last blog post but as you will see in the email from Israel below there was a lot of activity in his village in the latter part of 2009.
Thanks to everyone that remembers Israel and the work he’s doing in their prayers!
I once came to a point where I though, it will be my grand children to use electricity in our community, yet we were praying that the Lord somehow will do something about the need of electricity in our Village. Many of our partners have been part of this prayer request since they have known me. It is with great honour for me to write today talking about an answered prayer that we have joined hands and faith together for years, praying that one day electricity will be installed in our Village.
I thank you very much for being so faithful, praying and supporting us during our time of this very big need. Finally it is here, the year 2009 is the year the Lord has appointed to be the year of a prayer to be answered. We rejoice in the Lord for hearing and answering our prayers in times of our lives, and in times of our very need. I really thought the visions, dreams; projects and missions we have written down, only our grand children will be able to fulfil them, but I was wrong, the Lord have heard our cry, the Lord have seen our faith and the many hearts desires in our Village, and as we stood still and knew that the Lord is God, here we are today, it is as if we are dreaming yet it is a dream come through.
I took this picture standing in our School land where children are thought Gods ways, as we are neighbouring with the clinic, you can see the poles coming right till at the nurse house which is opposite our land. The Lord just brought the electricity right to the school; all we need urgently is to build an office where we will be able to connect the electricity. Thank God, for being God in our lives.
Please do rejoice with us, as you have been part of this prayer request, for its being answered. I can’t wait for the days I will be writing to you, now telling you that we already have electricity in our school. I believe the as we proceed completing this prayer point it is now time for us to thank the lord that as He has provided the electricity in our Village which seemed to be impossible, he will also provide everything we need for the electricity to be in our school.
As the electricity is in now, there is another prayer request that was going along side with the electricity one, the need for water. Lets join hands, faith and hearts together again, asking and trusting the Lord to provide for us to bore a water hole which can turn to be a blessing to the whole village, because this one, people can install pipes in their houses, then women and children won’t have to put 25litres of water in their heads and walk for long kilometres. This time I really believe the Lord will do it for us in my life time, and soon, because we are called to be a blessing to the Nations.
As I extend my thankfulness to you for standing with me in heart, faith and prayer for our Village, I encourage you to hold on, and go a little father, just an extra mile praying for the resources we need in other for us to make use of this electricity blessing. Just for you to remember, this means we can create Jobs opportunities, which will bring down the devils plans, because young man won’t have to leave the country to South Africa for Jobs. These means children will grow up knowing their fathers from early stage. Woman and man will have enough time together. Let us continue dear friends and partners, for the Lord is with us, and he has chosen us to bring the change in this community.
